Mitch monitors the public’s understanding of artificial intelligence and the effectiveness of MIRI’s messaging. He also writes and edits. Before joining MIRI in 2024, he taught high school English. He is also a long-time supporter of MIRI who has been involved with the organization’s mission since its earliest days.
